Our natural juniper needle essential oil for aromatherapy is obtained from the plant with the botanical name Juniperus communis. In international practice, the product is designated as Juniper needle natural essential oil for aromatherapy. The name indicates the needles as the raw material, and the needles themselves grow on a slow-growing evergreen shrub of the family Cupressaceae, described as the most widespread coniferous species. The shrub bears needle-like leaves arranged in whorls of three. The leaves serve as the only plant part, and the plantations that provide them grow in Bulgaria. Bulgaria falls within the natural range of the species, which covers the temperate regions of the Northern hemisphere and includes diverse soil conditions and habitat types.
